Wow. I played yesterday after taking a month off without hitting a single ball. I think that was my longest break from golf in about 5 years.
I put a little hurtin' on the 5 index by shooting 83 but I did come away with some interesting observations.
1. Your putter is your friend! I had 9 one-putts and a 27 putt total, otherwise it could be been a VERY ugly day.
2. Focusing on basics can get your swing back. It took me most of the round, but by the end I was hitting it better than ever. Primarily for me, right forearm tracing did the trick.
