Any time before your arms are fully 'inline' and 'onplane' during the followthrough, your right arm will be bent. The left wrist cock is fully dependant on your loading type. The right wrist should 'maintain' its impact fix degree of bend throughout the stroke unless you start with adjusted address and the right wrist being flat, in which case the extensor action will bring it back to its impact fix degree of bend during startup.

This is a very subtle and elusive point for Swingers who don't set up at Fix with Impact Hands.

Mathew, would you mind going a bit deeper into how the Extensor Action bends the Right Wrist from Adjusted Address? Also is this easier to accomplish via PP3 or PP1.

Very good post.

Very good post.
If you think of extensor action through pp3 as having two directions. The first direction you stretch towards is the plane line and the second is pulling the left wrist inline the with the swivel joint in the plane of the left wristcock, the left flying wedge, just like pulling on a rope(straight down the primary lever assembly). Now you just got to move that point whether it be pp1 or pp3 backwards and forwards during the stroke - stretch and trace....

Gotcha. However, how does the Extensor Action you have described above establish the Fix degree of bend in the Right Wrist? Does the Right Wrist Bend by applying the stretch?

Thanks man!

The right wrist is bent back at startup because the left arm and clubshaft is being pulled inline, causing the left wrist to go into a flat condition causing the right wrist bend.
