right handed. Always hit the ball pretty good and lately have been working on coming through impact thinking about keeping the right wrist bent and flat left wrist of course.

at first ball flight was straight now it has become a push. Interestingly a consistent one, always about the same distance to the right each time. I don't think it is an alignment issue.

It is less effort for more distance than the 1 plane I've been using so I would like to figure out the problem. Any suggestions?

Yesterday and today the temperatures topped 100 here and both days I was ALONE on the driving range working on my technique.(so what you say)

The missing ingredient for me has been the finish swivel.. there is a good Yoda video on it in the gallery.

I've found in my enthusiasm to maintain a flat left wrist that i wasn't following through with a finish swivel which resulted in blocks out to the right or flipping (the exact thing i was trying to get rid of!)

You'll soon find out then if you are on plane as well, if you are coming slightly over the top then expect a lot of pull hooks left !!

That makes sense because starting out my pre-swing routine included the post impact swivel as in Lynn Blakes video. I hit some straight drives as far as I've ever hit but with far less exertion than before.

As a few days went by the images of the post impact swivel video faded and the pre-swing routine became take club back to position then forward to impact position and hold. This is when the pushes started.

Doing the one-plane as per Jim Hardy instructions my left wrist folds back after impact so it becomes doubly important to rehearse the finish swivel before each TGM swing (at least with driver)

I am just smashing my iron shots lately, have to reassess distances now.

Incidentally, I believe I'm a hitter now that I read and think about it..
