Has anyone seen the cover of Golf Magazine? It has a great shot of Charles Howell just after impact. Any T.G.M. comments?

Haven't seen the pictures, but he has quite the Machine background. Grew up taking lessons from one of the best, and later moved on to Oklahoma State and learned under Mike Holder (who, if you recall, was in that same GSEM class at Homer's house with Lynn).

Didn't Howell grow up in the David "you're not using enough body"Leadbetter school?

And yes, that is incredible lag. He must have had even more because Leadbetter wanted him to get rid of some of it.

I was told Charles worked with George Kelnhofer (GSED from Georgia) when he was younger. Only later did he "progress" to Leadbetter.

Charles did work with George Kelnhofer. I'm not sure when he started with David Leadbetter.

Howell grew up in Georgia. I believe Tryon is from Florida.

Looking at the picture on page 65, it looks like his Right Elbow is above Plane at Impact. I also checked his swing sequence at the Golf Digest site, and it looks like the same thing...
