I have been hitting for a while again and I noticed on the range and on the course latley I have been hitting very straight to a small fade. However, I am also tending to push the ball if I do not get the ball up in my stance enough, but if I go to far I start topping.
So withmy driver especially I started to open up my stance and keep the ball forward and presto majic I am hitting the ball very straight to slight fade with no pushes.
So my question is this an "acceptable" stance for a hitter or should I be trying to work something out so I do nto devlop bad habbits?
I tried closing the face down but continued to hit pushes and I hate topping the ball so I can not move the ball to far forward.

Thanks again
Seems to me that your stance has evolved in order to accommodate your (open) club face orientation.
Open stance and open club face will get you a left to right (fading to straight) ball flight. Nothing wrong with that if it works for you.
However, if you are dissatisfied with the results and how you achieved them then look to fixing your club face at impact before you mess with your stance, ball position etc to compensate.
