Official "Insert Foot in Mouth" Thread for Tiger
Well i'll be the first:

I said unless he had a big turn around, he wasn't going to post a top 10.

Well, i admit i was wrong.

Who else?

Walking with Trig Friday down Amen Corner I said,

"Tiger just hasn't been the same guy after leaving Butch and getting married. His best days may be behind him..."

I thought Tiger was going to win pretty much all the way. Who else can match him on and around those greens.... pretty much no one.... can't say his stroke is an improvement though.....

Same here. I didn't think Tiger had the momentum recently to compete.
It is a shame for Chris, a Long Island boy. I was rooting for him.
That Haney is a miracle worker..........LOL

Spot on . Tiger just seems to make more must make, should make and might make putts than anyone else. There is no doubt about his length but he sprays it around too much for his swing to take credit for his victory. His scrambling and putting won him the competition IMO. The fuke chip in on 16 came in handy.

It's the multi full stroke patterns that wins the day....

4 Barrel Swing (Nobody hits a 375 drive just three barrel swinging, not even Tiger).
3 Barrel Swing
3 or 4 Barrel Hitting (maybe both?)

Right now Tiger is the ultimate TGM golfer...

I don't really think he played that good down the stretch. Not flat out amazing like before anyway. He didn't play lights out but he got the job done with his short game mostly- his putting has been better though. He just didn't give off that same dominating feel to me. He started to when he was 4 or 5 ahead or w/e it was...but down the stretch he didn't have that same look in his eyes to me.

It was good to see Dimarco battle back at him...I think Tiger was feeling the heat a bit- he was probably expecting to run away with this one. I hate to say it but I do really want to see someone beat him so everyone doesn't get all paranoid when he's in the hunt. He is amazing when he's on but I hate to hear people bow down to him and kiss his arse when he starts playing well all of a sudden. He looked a little more human to me this weekend...maybe it's just what I wanted to see, I dunno.

I dunno man...he did just win the Masters and I don't want to take that away from him or anything...but he shot a 71...he's fortunate Dimarco shot a 41 on his first nine, really.

All I'm saying is the door was definately open this time for someone to beat him but it didn't happen.

C'mon though- how much better was it to actually see a battle this time instead of everyone just getting scared and having Tiger run over the field. Tiger cruises to another win...Tiger is making history again while the rest of the field watches in horror...yawwwwwwN.

I bet I sound right bitter in this post eh! Oh well...I kind of am. Was pullin' for Dimarco all the way. Hehe.

I picked Tiger to win it! Mabye it was wishful thinking...I hate to see all of that talent go to waste.

I think we all need to take a step back and realize he's never been in a slump. The media helps to blow this out of proportion.

Watching him hit balls before the 2nd round...his swing looks on plane to me. It appears he gets into trouble when he over accelerates the driver. So that's an execution issue...not a swing issue.

Dear fellow TGM folks---if you go back and check, I'm the guy who picked Tiger----TO MISS THE CUT. Yep, that was me. It's just a gift I have. However, I'm sure the Pittsburgh Pirates will be in the World Series. Bank on it. And I'm going to be the first guy on this site to shoot 59. Yeah, that's the ticket. Now I have to go pick up my wife, Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that's right. Dr Dave
