Currently I'm having two problems I need help with. I am a pure hitter, shoot pretty consistently in the high 70's and need to get better in two areas in order to improve. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
1. As a hitter is there a good way to get a better stroke on long irons and fairway woods off the ground. If I have a tee I hit the ball very solidly , but struggle off the ground. I actually sometimes wonder if I have too much forward tilt at impact. Can work great with a 9-iron, but maybe not so much with a 3-wood.
2. I have a tendency to hit a hosel rocket now and then with my wedges. I think as a hitter you are suppose to hit down and out, I'm wondering if I have too much out and catch the hosel with the shortest irons.
Thanks for everyone's help, this is definitely a great learning forum...
