Thanks to all who gave the instructional advice. One thing that has had me puzzled, at impact your hips are typically a bit open, but at impact fix they should actually be a bit closed? Is that right? I really liked Ted Fort's video but unfortunately it's hard to get a good view as to how his impact fix looks like because of the camera angle. Could somebody set me straight on the hips at impact fix? Thanks once again.
What you see is a pre turned hip, which is not where it would be at impact.
This is a tremendous setup key, especially so for hitters, cross line hip motion, in 'pre set' mode really helps you 'get' the path up and down the plane that your hands will travel on, which will 'feel' and/or actually be, somewhat 'out to right field' and allow for full extension of your right arm

When I first read the book the part that amazed me the most was it was not a book teaching THE WAY. There are imperitives, to be sure. But there are lots of variations for almost everything. Mr. Kelley included all the variatons that WORK. He excluded variations that don't work.
When you're talking about how you're aligned right before you take that club away from the ball, Impact Fix generally just means that you set your hands slightly ahead of the ball, rather than even to it.
Ur right tho about your hips being open at the ACTUAL impact (actual contact with ball). I used to be confused with Impact Fix too man. It's easy to mix up...I think Fix (in the context of just before the takeaway) should have a different name or something...
