I really like Baddely's putting routine - one look and go - and would like to incorporate it into my own game but not sure I will be able to trust it enough. Any suggestions on letting it go?

I'm not sure but I think Badds putting routine is the one that Pelz promotes, where you'll take your practiceswings looking at the putt from behind the ball instead of beside the ball.
When he feel he has the right tempo and lenght of the stroke to create a putt that'll go into the hole on the selected line, he'll execute the putt rather quick because the theory is that you'll lose the musclememory in 8 seconds.
I believe that a preshot routine is very important especially a putting routine. So if you choose to make your putting routine the same as Baddelys it's off to the putting green and practice incorporating this routine. 2000+ repetitions and you'll own it.

Imagine yourself a putting machine and do just like one. You'll get used to it after enough trials.

"Sustain (Yang/陽) the lag (Yin/陰)" is "the unification of Ying and Yang" (陰陽合一).
The "LAW" creates the "effect", which is the "motion" or "feel", with the "cause", which is the "intent" or "command".
"Lag" is the secret of golf, passion is the secret of life.
Think as a golfer, execute like a robot.
Rotate, twist, spin, turn. Bend the shaft.
Badds has done this for years, even as an amatuer when he won his first Aussie open. Gotta go with what works for you though, no point forcing a routine that is not yours.
Similar to phils routine for short putts where he goes around the hole I guess?
Another good point is image retention. We all have different abilities to retain images in the mind's eye. Some can hold the image of a candle (whatever...) for only a split second, while others can hole it for a long time. So don't go against your natural image retention.
