My point is that TGM can stand on its own as Short Game System but I am also looking forward to the benefit that it will bring to my long game.

Exactly!!!! We spend a lot of time talking about Total Motion out here. But the TRUE beauty of what Homer gave us is the VERSATILITY to hit all kinds of short shots. My short game is leaps and bounds better as a result of all of the concepts that translate to the short and long game.
The short game is where the art of the game is without question.
