1/2 and 3/4 pitching!!!
Any technical specials guys? Has anyone found a method thru TGM principles that works a treat for them? I'm pretty sure i remember Matthew saying aggggges ago that Yoda taught him a nice little dead hands shot and possibly a right arm controlled method as well. I know Lynn admires the way Trevino hits these shots. At present i am working on a pure hit for these shots with a hand comtrolled pivot depending on the work of the right forearm.

I use a mini pull swing with either angled or vertical hinging with a complete right right arm motion, no left at all.

The reason why i say "mini pull" is because if you hit the inside back corner of the ball with an angled/vertical hinge the ball would be going out to the right.

So i just hit the back of the ball (which would result in a pull in the big swing) to keep the ball going straight but use angled or vertical to get the spin that a horizontal wouldn't

Ask 8cork how my short game techniques helped him on his golfing trip and he'll agree

few people.......who are these people?

I only gave a lesson to 8cork.

Either way....i would say short game and putting are my strengths with ball striking and driver to follow.

May have been your words maybe. I remember seeing on Brians site that from memory your putting is your strength and your short game was second i think. I did see 8cork talking of your flop shots.

Ya....my putting is what keeps my scores low.

I learned a really good short game because my ball striking SUCKED LMAO. It was more a result of bad ball striking because i was determined to keep my scores low.

Since within the last year i've really learned to strike a ball i'm very interested to see how i score this year and see if i can qualify for a couple Am events.

-----

going back to your original question, if you don't really know how to keep that right wrist frozen through impact, doing my right arm short game stuff will become problamatic due to the the clubshaft passing the hands once the right wrist begins to un-freeze.

When i was helping 8cork i taught him how i learned it first and this was a swinging motion with all kinds of left arm karate chopness into the ball! Once you master that you'll unconsciously learn how to keep that right wrist frozen because you've been keeping the left wrist flat in the karate chop moiton. Make senes?

Only THEN did i switch and use a right arm motion.
