Eight plane angle variations are described in 10-7 but there are only 7 photos. Is a photo not accompanying 10-7-A ZERO because this variation is illustrated in the 10-6-B photo?
Also, I am assuming the TSP angle is out of position (too steep) just to emphasize the shifts?

DOC,
In a Zero Shift, there is no shift. The photos are showing 7 variations, i.e., shifts.
But where is it illustrated? Does 10-6-B illustrate zero shift as well as TSP?
Or, more specifically, is PP3/hands on the TSP in the backstroke and downstroke.

10-6-B is the Plane Angle that I usually see recommended for a Zero Shift procedure. But........... I suppose one could set up one's machine on any of the 10-6 angles if they choose to. Someone like Dana Quigley looks to me like he is staying on an Elbow Plane throughout his motion.
For someone like HK who repeatedly cautioned about the hazards of plane shifts and provided photos to illustrate almost every teaching, it just seems uncharacteristic not to provide a specific zero shift photo. Of course maybe he felt the other photos were sufficient or he accepted the popularity of elbow plane and the shifts accompanying it. Just a personal observation but I think a factor for teaching or debate.
I am curious about the format of the workshops and the emphasis placed on zero shift and the adjustments involved.
