An infinite number of 'THANK YOU's
Dear Mr.Blake (Yoda)

If you actually read this I apologize for making it too long, but sometimes the words just flow. Yoda: you are my golfing machine hero!

My name is Bryan and I am 26. I have been in golf for about 10 years. This past year I have had the determination to improve. I was your typical hacker, and I hit every iron the same distance and trajectory.

Improvement in my golf swing was very fleeting. I bought books, I had lessons, and I practiced with little improvement. Last summer I attended a seminar here on Long Island NY at Smithtown Landing with Michael Hebron. This great man opened my mind to a golf swing based on the laws of physics and motion. I never knew about a forward leaning clubshaft, or compression. Then I learned that he achieved much of his knowledge from a single book: The Golfing Machine.

I recieved accurate information from Mike Hebron, and good ideas on learning the game of golf.

However, progress was slow and below the level of what I believe to be my potential. I still lacked understanding....even with accurate information.

So, I bought TGM and got through it once recently. I got lost in the book because I failed to focus on the correct things, and I did not completely understand much of it. It made sense to me, and I had complete faith that the book was the most precise compilation of the golf swing, but I could not apply the written words to my swing.

I spent some time on RSG golf at google groups because a man named David Laville, GSEM, posted his understanding of the golf swing. Each post from Laville was a treat because I was able to tell that this person achieved his knowledge of the golf swing through understanding ONE BOOK. So I started posting questions in hope that Laville would respond, but he never did and my questions were beginning to become more complex because I had all these ideas from TGM. Last week somebody referred me here because nobody at RSG is into TGM.

This website holds the key to unlocking anything anybody ever needs about swinging a golf club. LynnBlakeGolf.com is an absolute gold mine of information. The videos are just superb. Your posts help me to understand the book more than what would have ever been possible on my own.

There is one video in particular where you talk about the finish swivel. Exactly like you say in the video: the finish swivel has taken my golf swing to the next level INSTANTLY. I never knew about the finish swivel...now it is a vital part of my swing.

Thank you for helping me enjoy golf more than I ever have, and more than ever would have without this website.

The videos from Tom Tomasello are outstanding, and I really love to see Ben Doyle in action.

Thank you so much, Yoda.
