John Daly On The Range At Torrey Pines
Saw Daly on TV today swinging left arm only on the range during the fog delay. Has anyone used this drill?

Also, did you catch Azinger's comment that he tried it and couldn't do it?
Validation that Azinger is a Hitter?

Hello TradeKid

I also use this wonderful one handed drill in the sand trap. It makes me feel the Flail action. strong pivot and follow thru like my left arm is coming out of my shoulder socket. I also switch to my right arm drill. I do this in the trap too, I can realy see and feel the frozen right wrist going into impact. I do this with my left hand on the right elbow, This allows me to keep preasure on my right elbow and feel the uncocking of the right wrist , When, I pivot thru the ball. These drills will make you do your work or the ball will be left in the trap and will roll back to you so you can do the rwork all over again! After, The drills hit balls out of the trap with both clamps on the club. What a difference it will makes
My AI showed me this drill about a year ago. If I only grasped it sooner!! :P :P :P

i agree with the comment about azinger i wonder if this drill might just be the best way to determine what you are naturally stronger at hitting or swinging i often hit balls right handed when i get bored, my average seven iron goes about 165 yards and i can hit it about 140 with just my right hand pretty consistent but switch to my left and its hard to make contact never the less i fell much more comfortable hitting.

On the range at the 88 PGA Champship, I watched Ian Woosnam hit what looked to be near full length 7 irons with the Left Arm only. His Right Hand was dangling at his side holding a cigarette.
