I did my time in "The Basin". Steph has the right idea, stay up high where the air is a little fresher and the balls fly farther.
I do miss Laguna Beach and all those great courses along the coastline. If you ever go down there, hook up with our buddy Dave, Mike O, and the other LGB members for an outing.

I'll have to do that some time. I don't mind the high desert too much for golf except for the incessant wind. I don't mind a 1-club wind from time to time, but when it blows here, we get N-club winds where N is a large, but finite number (woops, math degree kicked in =; ).
