Tong . . .what do you "feel" and Monitor on your half swing Swings?

I think it is good practice to really get the feeling of CF Uncocking the wrist to full-lever extension. Eddie Cox is a BIG proponent of this.

What's your description of these shots like?

Just miniture full swings really...if I hit it hard enough so that my hands finish swivels then I just let that happen.
On the course, I just see hole and try to get the ball into the hole...never ever think about CF, etc...

swinging pitch shots

if you are a swinger you better stay a swinger throughout drive to putt.use horizontal hinging and swinging for all shots.i showed lynn when he was in vegas how i do this out of the bunker.veery effecient even in the sand.you only have to adjust your grip put #3 on top of the shaft and you you normal stroke with horizontal hinge action.#
3 on top will not let the face close even the it feels the sane as hiiting a drive.pretty simple to just alter your grip and to make the same stroke.this allows you to keep constant acceleration through impact, but the shot will be vry soft when it lands.it is also very easy to flop it this way

John,

I tried this at the range at lunch time and am slightly confused

To put PP#3 on top of the shaft do you turn the right hand around to a "weak" position?

Thanks

Sean

open the face slightly and adjust both hands weak.#3turned counterclockwise so it is on top of the shaft, instead of behind the shaft.this is for shots for less than 30 yds, bunker shots also, anytime you need to gt the ball up and stop it.this is a great procedure so try and figure it out experiment monitor your hands and look at the clubface in relation to your hands.at both arms straight you should have all your alignments the same as basic motion horit. hinge with a flat lft wrist but the face will still be open.remember to look look keep monitoring your hands then the clubface.hope this helps.very precise procedure

When in the sand trap, think the letter V. Thats how I program that shot. V meaning Up and Down. The shape of the swing. This of course with #3 on top of the shaft.
