Uphill.....toward hill....slighly left

Downhill...toward hill....slightly right...YES..I SAID...Slightly RIGHT..the exact opposite of ALL the golfbooks out there

Low Trajectory ....Moderately Left
Medium Trajectory....Very Slightly Left
High Trajectory...Cenetered to Slightly Right

High Right to Left ....slightly left with lower CG and toward the balls of the feet to Toes...Upper CG more Back and Right

Low Left to Right...slighly left and toward the heels with Upper CG Cenetered to Slighly Left..

Oh yeah make sure you raise/lower the shaft depending on th shot...

Or.. Lean the shaft forward/Aft....depending on the terrain

Any more questions ...I'll have to kill you...LOL...

Lagster always asks the "loaded" questions...even when he knows the answers in advance.....

BTW any arguements on the above info can be debated with Mac O'Grady and Michael hebron...cause that's who I learned them from....

Outta Here...

annikan- just to understand this concept a little better, the correct way to play a downhill shot is the exact opposite of butch harmon's advice in Butch's Basics on p. 40 of the aug '06 golf digest ... i.e. the correct way is NOT to align your shoulders to the slope, right?

Tried it again some BTW.....worked pretty good actually.

I do not believe I mentioned NOT aligning shoulders to slope..I was referencing the Center of Gravity of the human machine which changes the alignment of the spine and the location of the center of gravity...

BTW....First of All....I would never listen to a Harmon again.....One of them told me that I'd never make it on tour with my swing...well he got the first part right...I'd never make it on Tour..but do you think any of the Harmons swing better than this?

And second.....Tiger left Butchie for more than one reason....Do you think if he goes back he regain his "dominance"?...no way... Tiger has taught all of his teachers....just like all the greats have taught us along the way...

Third ...Whose teaching O'Meara? Haney?:eyes:

Ya man wtf exactly did he think was wrong with your swing?...lol...

That's just funny.

Yeah..WTF....At the Time as a "Rook"..I believed him(one of the Mr. Harmon's) because of "who he was"...Thanks to him I started this "freakin" journey of complexity to get it "right" ...due to "my rabbit ears"...I searched for 17 long years to arrive at the same place that I began with more precision.."My Authentically Aligned Swinging Procedure"..as opposed to my "Learned Hitting Procedure"....:read: Should've listened to PGA Tour Official, Mickey Bradley..."Son..whatever you do...don't ever change your swing" ....Following week...lesson with a Harmon..should've listened to the "Ole Mick"...He's "seen em come and seen em go"..I was one that went..the wrong way!!!

I can name a few things he wouldn't like right off the bat.

1. Great address posture, no chin up bs
2. Great postural maintenance, no huge head dip
3. Not a ridiculous amount of axis tilt at impact
4. Maximum trigger delay, YUCK!

Need down-the-line for more commentary!

ok, let's see then the correct way to play this shot is to move the COG in the direction of the hill (i.e. right for a right-hander) but also to align the shoulders to the slope - is that right? question re: COG ... is that upper COG, lower COG or both? thanks.

re: whose teaching O'Meara ... is Plummer/Bennett, correct?

tongzilla 07-12-2006 10:25 AM

Annikan, can you please post the complete sequence, including the down-the-line view?

Thanks!

annikan skywalker 07-12-2006 01:08 PM

Don't have a down the line full swing sequence fo swinging ..only hitting!!!...Body too fat!!!!....next time I film outside..i'll film down the line...but I'll still be too fat with low hands...A little embarassed by the "athletic build"....

I'm not saying anything other than...I know O'Meara has received some good advice...and liked it what he heard...
