I'll have no problem 'dumbing' down, Jim.

Ask my wife.

Jim, you should try the yellow book with this forum as a guide. It is worth buying and reading.

Not at all, Jim. In fact, I agree with you 100 percent. As Homer Kelley himself once stated: "They [most golfers] don't want to be mechanics; they just want to be good little car steer-ers."

My book will be for 'drivers' -- not 'mechanics' -- but with enough detail to justify the recommended procedures.

I have two things to say to that:

1) paralysis by analysis....i get it sometimes from the FORUMS, god knows where'd i be with the book! LMAO

2) The great Fred Couples once said in regards to his swing knowledge, "I really don't know anything and what i do know i wish i could forget. Things would be so much easier."

6bmike 05-09-2005 06:02 PM

you are a regular

1- I would think anyone who posts as often as you do, I would say you are a regular of several TGM forums, would be proud to own the life's work of Homer Kelley. Much paralysis and fog would cease to exist with it. I read that you would never consider owning or reading the book. I think it would surprise. It’s a great read when staying at Holiday Inns. :D

2- Fred Couples none of us are.

I might buy it, just to "have it." But i honestly don't want to read it. I stand by my paralysis by analysis statement. I learn what i can and apply it. Then when i can't, i usually go see Brian. Honestly, thats "enough" for me.

Only yoda gets to talk that way :P

Someday, because of The Golfing Machine, we will have enough Brians and Yodas in every state to go see. You are lucky to be near one of them.

jim_0068 05-09-2005 06:57 PM

Well.....4-6 hours anyway :)

RickPinewild 05-09-2005 07:01 PM

Jim, buy the book
