Good idea, Mike. Actually, I like The Kelley Cup better. As long as I keep the word Homer off of it, I should have no trouble with The Golfing Machine, LLC!

But that bronze Hinge Board trophey looks good hoisted over my head.

We would better luck with George Lucas getting a Yoda Invitational, wouldn't we?

SwingNorthtoSouth 12-11-2005 02:15 PM

Hey Mike, isn't your comment premature. It is going to be me that has that Hinge Board Trophy high above my head!!!!:D

If you win, would you hold it up Horizontal, Verticle, or Angeled???.

Me personally, I will just lift the trophy up straight over my head with a no roll feel!!!!![-o<

6bmike 12-13-2005 08:34 AM

In your dreams Yankee boy ! :p

I just saw WW from Poland- he would look great on the map- hint hint. :p

We've added quite a few new members since I posted the link above. Be sure you are included on the map! It only takes a minute or two. Just follow the simple instructions above, and go for it!

Here's a big hello from little Guernsey, ever heard of it Yoda?

I'm a professional on the island and being following TGM for a while now. Being stuck out here means contact with other pro's is limited so resouces like this site are invaluable.

All the best

Hello Stuart...

Aye, isnt Guernsey where Mike Austin - holder of the longest drive record on the PGA Tour - was born?

Yoda 02-27-2006 11:05 AM

Welcome, Stuart! Thanks for your comments on our site and also for your first post. Keep'em coming!

I had heard the name Guernsey, but I couldn't have located it before today. So, on your inspiration, I went to our Frapper Map, searched through the members, found your name, clicked and -- voila'! -- there you are. Like the photo, too! By the way, for the record, you were Member #100 on the map! I encourage all LBG members who have not put their name up to do so now. http://www.frappr.com/thetgmworldmap It only takes a minute, and its fun to see where everybody is!

I did a little more homework on Guernsey and found that, not surprisingly, the island's restaurants do a robust seafood business. One of the more popular items seems to be crab, which the Guerns refer to by its French name: chancre. The only problem with that word is its pronunciation...

Shanker.

:(

thefluff 02-28-2006 06:40 AM

Well Yoda

You certainly have done your homework, one little thing, I can't beleive I am going to be correcting you! "the Britons" actually just call it edible crab or brown crab, we Guerns!! call it chancre.

Now if you want a truly local local dish which you will not find in England or France check out our Ormers!!

Stuart

Hey, fluff, that Ormer Casserole looks pretty good. Anything that's lasted about 400 years can't be all bad! I've got a hunch I might find myself out your way sometime soon. If that happens, we'll load up on some of those shankers -- I mean, chancres :D -- and the Ormers. From the looks of those critters, though, we're going to need to wash'm down with something a little stronger than 'Co-Cola.' Any ideas?

Hey, while I'm here, welcome to our newest Frapper Member, KOC, from Hong Kong, China. Welcome aboard, KOC, Frapper Member #101. Please...post!

And anybody reading this who has not yet added his or her name to the Frapper Map...

Shame on you!

It only takes a minute.

Click here http://www.frappr.com/thetgmworldmap and do it now!

We want to see where you are and -- if you've got a photo, who you are!

Good to see you up there in Hinckley, Ohio, Uppndownn. You're #103 on the map. John Flayter (FL-John) from Port Charlotte, Florida, slipped in just ahead of you at #102.

Thanks, guys, for putting yourselves 'on the map.' This place is getting crowded! :D

"Click on the link below and see where your many friends at LBG live and play the game. 'Left-click and drag' the screen and use the controls to zoom in and out and 'roundabout. Don't forget our South Sea folk and those near the top of the world as well. Click on a cyber-buddy's name on the list at the right of the page to locate them. Or, go exploring by clicking on the little icons to see who lives there. Be sure to add your name and a brief comment by clicking on the Add Yourself link at the right of the page."

Frap on!

Thanks, Dan, and welcome aboard. I see you on the Frapper Map and thank you for this first post!

You've got at least a month of golf season left in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, so keep on chasin' that ball. After that, though, start POSTING! Let us help YOU.

While others let the winter months rob them of their prior Feel skills, you can use them as a forced 'indoor lab' to learn new Alignment skills.

Alignments beget Feels.

And Feels beget Alignments.

Both are necessary for a lifetime of better golf.

Posted a hello on the map and I hope no-one minds but I put on there that Paul Smith (Iseekgolfguru) will be over with me for a week at the end of September/start of October this year.

If there is enough interest it is intended to run a workshop so if you are in the area, send me an email and I'll come back to you with the details closer to the time.

I'm on the map. I'm in Minnesota where we are all now famous for speaking a lot like Sarah Palin. :)

Kevin

JerryG 01-01-2009 03:51 PM

Easy, big boy. I don't speak like Sarah Palin and quite frankly, neither do you.
However, when Ms. Kouric asked her what she read, had she said Homer Kelly she would have stood a chance to get my vote!:golf: :golf:
