DVD Review: Explosive Golf

A very solid DVD that I would recommend. Teaches a pure swingers motion, with a strong pivot focus. Very much like Ben Doyle's pattern, with some clear Hebron influence. Well worth the price (see ebay). An excellent introduction to TGM.

Check it out.

Is the author an A.I.?

Yes he is. Mike Jacobs teaches out on eastern long island. I had a few lessons with him. Also one time I was out for a lesson Ben Doyle was hanging around, so I got to meet him...........

Jacobs is a G.S.E.D.

I nabbed mine for $10 and it was well worth the money. Some very interesting segments. It is not comprehensive however and only really goes down the path of one style. Loading and releases are not really looked into.

I have a bid in on one right now. If we are not careful we will end up all bidding against each other. :(

I avoided the one that Martee was bidding on (I assume it is the same Martee that frequents this site). My bid is under the_heat4. There are several different auctions for this item.

Thanks.... Actually I bid on another one earlier and got out bid. Seems there is alot of interest in the last 3 days, prior it didn't seem like that much.

Yes, it isn't aimed at discussion of TGM - in fact he doesn't really use much if any TGM terminology directly. ('points of pressure' being one phrase I recall). It is pure TGM however.

Consider it a 'how to be a swinger' tape, focused on a very solid pattern that should really help people learn a proper 'swing'. If you've seen Doyle's tape, it is a great way to learn his basic pattern. Doyle's influence is clear and acknowledged.
