Homer things
Two things:
check out the story on Homer as told by Sally over on the ‘official’ home page. In the name of promoting and educated the faithful, here are two small clips and remarks: “at the Frise Precious Metals Company where he again used his problem solving skills to invent a way to separate the mercury from the silver.” This was after his time with Boeing. “His followers became a very devoted group, even some of the famous names came to our house for instruction and taking a break in the kitchen to enjoy my homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk.” Hey Lynn, how good were they? and in German I believe but nice to be recognized http://www.golfforum.de/dynasite.cfm...spaid =145620 BABEL FISH give this as a translation. Homer Kelley had 1967 a new idea to the momentum level: Its level is determined by the Lie of the racquet and is thus many flatter than from Hogan. The racquet should move however on this level also only 90º on the left and on the right from the ball. During the momentum the racquet should point to each time either with an end of the shank to the target line or be also parallel, if it parallel to the soil is, to the target line. In his book as model intentionally a woman was consulted, who did not play ever gulf. Diane was a student so she must have played. enjoy mike google is a wonderful thing. |
Ok, I'm German, let's see if I can do a little better than Google ;-)
Homer Kelley in 1967 had a new idea about the swing plane: his plane is determined by the lie of the club and thus is much flatter than Hogan's. However, the club is only supposed to move on that plane 90° left and right of the ball. During the swing the shaft is supposed to point at any time either with the butt end towards the target line or, when it is parallel to the ground, also parallel to the target line. In his book he selected on purpose a woman as model, who has never played Golf before. Ulrich |
