What does Dragging the Wet Mop Mean to YOU?

How'd you like to drag this mop around?

But really what does DRAG THE WET MOP feel like in your motion?

More Effective Mass. Heavy Impact. Focus less on velocity and more on mass. Ball goes further than you think it should. Hit the ball with the pressure points in your hands, not the clubhead. Deliver the Entire Club to the ball, not just the Clubhead.

Bucket you're almost forcing me to put up one more pic of the delightful string-emil:rolleyes:

regarding the mob: I was out today in an extended lunch break with my wedge. My chipping has been mediocre the first couple of rounds this season, so a little training was needed. A friend of mine I played with a couple of weeks ago reminded me of the importance of having "soft hands" on small chips and putts. That was one of my swing-thoughts (hit-thoughts:D ) today, and suddenly the feeling of "dragging the mob" was more pronounced than ever.
I was hitting small cut-chips uphill to a short pin. The soft hands grip was making the club hang after the hands in an almost lazy kind of way. The pressure on the right hand index finger was more present than ever. Enlightment - so this is what dragging the wet mob really means:cool:

Reminds me of 4 years in the US Air Force (1966-1970) Lots of mopping.

....now that I think about it. If you're hitting, you're actually "pushing the wet mob"8-[ \\:D/

If your pushing the handle and the handle is forward leaning of the mophead, your still dragging the mop, no??? I dunno bout wet mobs though;)
