Right Arm Pickup

Does the right arm pickup change when using hoziontal versus angled hinging?

If you mean horizontal hinge for Swinging and angled for Hitting, the only deviation would be if you apply different wrist action for the two strokes- Standard 10-18-A for Swinging and Single 10-18-C-2 for Hitting, although either hinge action works with both strokes and wrist actions, just not as well. The turn of the hands of course determines where #3 pressure point is located on the shaft in relationship to wrist position and how it drives down out and through to the ball.

But... the basic right forearm take away is still a simultaneous up, back and in pick up.
