Welcome aboard, Neil. You'll find a lot to like around here, and we'll do all we can to help you along the TGM way.

Regarding private lessons, drop me an email at lynn@lynnblakegolf.com and I'll give you the particulars. From there, we can get together and match schedules. Thanks for thinking of me in connection with your Game.

I'd like to take credit for it, Ed, but I can't. It was the last line in Ben Hogan's letter to me -- then a 20-year-old serviceman -- dated May 9, 1967, wherein he politely, but resolutely, declined my request for private lessons.

How about: "Yodas Little Yellow Book"

Yoda,

Let me just say I hope that you'll somehow, some day, will be able to make time to write a book. With your pristine writing skills, huge "database" of observations and stories from past and present it has the potential to be an immediate classic.

With the motion I have seen you make Lynn, you don't need Hogan's lesson anymore 8)

Mysterious Ways

Thanks for all the comments, guys. I appreciate them.

Knowing what I know now, if I could have chosen in advance only one person to spend a week with learning the Mechanics of Golf -- Homer Kelley or Ben Hogan -- the choice would have been Homer Kelley.

No contest.

And by the turn of fortune's wheel, that is exactly what I got.
