The hands of a hitter

Yoda commented on my signature (derived from Hogan's 5 Lessons) in the shanking thread but I wanted to start a new one to ask whether this is the proper action of a swinger only and how a hitter's impact with an arched left wrist and the follow-up swivel would compare and contrast to that of my signature below. (This won't make sense to those of you who see a little red "X" in a box instead of my signature.)

See that dotted line there?

It isn't in the middle of the Body.

It is beneath the Left Shoulder.

Get it there....

A hitter would have less 'on plane' rotation and the hands would appear to be maintained closer to the three images from the sequence right before, during, and after impact.

The amount of arch (if present) is a seperate issue and depends on grip type, axis tilt, right wrist bend, ball position, plane angle... lots of variables to that, but they all trace back to impact fix.
