Last 9 holes for a while....1 holie, 2 polies.

Played 9 holes at a local muni course. Nothing special, nothing too hard. I tried out my "new" thing i found in the range that i made a thread about in the advanced section. Basically what i'm doing is swinging and then overriding CF with right arm thrust through impact.

Seemed to work WELL! 280 yard drive a little down hill into a 15mph cross wind to the fringe of a 290 yard par 4. I then proceeded to chip in with my PW for eagle! Yup, i chipped with a PW. Don't forget you can always use OTHER CLUBS instead of the SW and LW to chip with. This was my holie.

Four holes later i hit a really bad drive and a poor 6 iron to just off the green. It was a nasty uphill/sidehill lie in the rough to a green that ran away from me and the worst thing happened, i hit the freakn' flag and it rolled off the green!  But, it was a polie :)

Then two holes later i one hopped and hit the flag from 120 yards with a PW.

I ended up -2 for 9 holes with 1 eagle, 3 birdies, 3 bogies and 2 pars. Bogies were all really stupid mistakes, i should've finished -4 under.

Oh well, it was fun! Hopefully the nice weather will stick around for next weekend.

Good stuff Jimbo.

U still fooling around with that right-arm drive thing?

Yes, mainly on drives.

I've found the only way to control it is with a pull fade and angled hinging. However ball still goes a loooooooooong way with it.
