7-2 Grip Types
Could someone help me with understanding 7-2 with this sentence here....
"Because for Impact Clubface alignment control, Hitters should rotate their Grip but not their plane line at address, while Swingers should rotate their Plane Line but not their Grip." |
Quote:
The Swinger on the otherhand must adjust the Plane Line to the Line of Flight to effect curvature. I could be way of on this . . . I am such a dingleberry. |
ahahahahah....
Dingleberry.... Classic. Honestly "laughed out loud." Cause I know what a dingleberry is.... :D BTW.....yes it's in reference to clubface alignment at Impact. Weaker grip means simply more open at Impact, right? Stronger = closed. That would be how a Hitter works the ball I believe. Swingers open or close body lines (feet, shoulders) and swing along those open or closed body lines (changes the Plane Line in relation to Target Line). I figured a vet' like you would know this stuff Matt! ;) Hehe just buggin man. -Paul |
Are you sure man? To me, it sounds like he wants you to actually rotate the grip, not the clubface.

I'm pretty sure this is correct. This is one of those that is difficult to get from the book! |
