the Ultimate Senior Swing
I can see it all...DVD's, Videos, layouts in GDigest,Golf...if one of the swamp foxes doesn't publish Hitting as the new swing for old, less flexible, bigger in the middle, guys then somebody else is going to do, but not as well

Hitting may be easier if you are less flexible and have a "gut" but it isn't necessarily "easier" on the body for older folks. There is a lot more muscle movement involved.

Peter Croker already did it....
I distinctly remember his "Swing of the Future" on the cover of Golf Digest in April 1995(?). Hitting all the way---and it worked. But it never really caught on:( , did it ideit? I think Hardpan's suggestion that Yoda do it again with a chapter dedicated to seniors is quite appropriate. "Hitting", by Lynn Blake. Sign me up for the first autographed copy. I want NOTHING to do with any other pattern(book), thank you....pshr
BTW, Croker gives credit to Homer Kelly |
pshr,
Very good idea. Are seniors more able to swing with CF or hit with MF? Initial thought was swinging with CF as we are not as strong, but hitting requires less turn for those with a loss of flexibility. Good topic for discussion. Lee Deitrick (ldeit) |

Of course I am also a fan of 'The LAWs of the Golf Swing' which I find to have a great deal of based on TGM. |

But the Leverage player can be either depending upon which variation are adopted in the pattern. The book is difficult to read and really falls down when it tries to explain to a person how to adopt variations. It has some interesting insights regarding women golfers I thought. |
