Smiling to myself

Hi, Just a thought as I look back to my first year as a GSEB teaching pro.

Its been a year now since I came back from Sandiego after doing my GSEB ( The only one in India, for that) The success I have had is brilliant. Teaching the imperatives and essentials to my students and building swings adhering to those components, both beginners and top ametuer players have indeed benefitted immensely over a period of time. I have taught and emphasized another vital component regarding the mental and physical parameters of the game and that is 'patience'. Students of mine who have developed this aspect and have stayed with it, HAVE improved a great deal. After all its a skill and to learn a skill takes time. If you can get that in to their coconuts, you and they have a chance. But it is the most difficult thing to ingrain.

The most satisfying part after this whole year is when I see the rest of the pros at our range teaching in a very discreet way so that I may not notice, the same movements, alignments and TERMINOLOGY( down plane, low point, hinging, bent right wrist, down and out) that I have been using for the past year. That is the ultimate for me. With the success I have had and the growth of students my way I guess they had limited options!!!! Now they have been successful too in their own way and teaching longer than my three years but I never saw them teaching the FLV, extensior action, right forearm alignments, etc, Why Now???

One nods ones head and smiles to ones self, thinking aloud " I wish you guys knew what you're missing. :D ;)

So much so for TGM. Its mesmerizing!!!
