TGM: The Gift That Keeps on Giving!
You can't rush the incubator, as we've all heard. I haven't played much golf lately but the other day I picked up my rackets and did some "right forearm take-away" drills. I went out on Sunday with only time for 9 holes and something clicked, I mean really clicked. My only thought was taking the right hand to "right-shoulder high" as Yoda showed me in my lesson about 15 months ago. Just like the racket drills. It worked beautifully. This has never really clicked for me until now. My stroke was effortless. I hit all 9 greens and only missed one fairway. Good enough for a 34 while missing three putts inside 15 feet. :D
The lesson here is KEEP AT IT. You can't rush the incubator. ;) |
Mental Practice
Completely agree Trig. It's sometimes very difficult to set aside our habit for instant gratification for long term results. But for those that keep working, absorbing, and creating new habits based correct, proven information the wait is worth it. Good job! I know you haven't been playing or practicing for at least 3 months.

Learning And Doing

Fifteen months is a long time. Somewhere between then and now, you learned to 'tie your shoelaces.' On this great day, you didn't worry about how to tie them...you simply tied them. And that is the way it should be. :) |
Nice round Trig!
I'm beginning to love the incubator as well... :) After the visit with Ted and Yoda, this next month should be fun as my incubator kicks into high gear. |
