There is a difference between the Sequenced Release (of the #2 and #3 Accumulators per 4-D-0) and the Sweep Release (10-24-C) which can be either Sequenced or Simultaneous. I know Watson uses the Sweep Release. It may or may not be a Sequenced Release. I'd have to get photos and look. Anyway, the 'early' Release you mention refers to the Sweep characteristic of the Downstroke, not its Sequence.
