Joe Dante
While I wait for the 7th edition of yellow book to become available I came across a book by a guy named Joe Dante. My friend said he had written this book before HK had written TGM, and tha there were some similarities to TGM.
He was really into the concept of a flat (if not bowed) wrist positions through out the swing. He also encouraged an early wrist set similar to Tommy's. Do you guys know anything about this guy and his concepts? Thanks |
I have the book. It has some great concepts. It talks about conservation of momentum. I enjoy it. Brian Manzella has recommended it.

Sounds exactly like tomasello...done correctly it is a very valid way to swing a golf club

Thanks for the comments guys. Would you say Dante was more hitting in theory or swinging?
It also seems some people would consider Dante's wrist postion to be "shut faced" at the top where others call it square. He is definately against fanning open the club and then snapping them closed at impact with hands. He would argue all night with AJ Bonar:) |
I'd Like to Teach the World to Swing...
