Dynamics of the Golf Swing
Hello all,
For those of you who don't have the great book by Dr. Williams on the Science of the Golf Swing, here is my copy of his orginal paper from 1967 that led to his book. Even if you don't like math, the synopsis and data is still current. Enjoy. http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/assets/...Golf_Swing.PDF |
thank you for posting this...it is an interesting analysis...was this available to Homer...if so he must have enjoyed it.

I have been wanting to get my hands on a copy of this book but due to prohibitive costs have not done so. This is like a dream come true! Justin |
Everyone very welcome
I also thank Yoda for hosting it. I am very lucky to have gotten the book this year and the paper summarizes the book information very well. The difference is that the book was written to explain more details on his findings. His work stands the test of time. This paper was out in 67 so it was there if Homer wanted to see it. Certainly shows that Homer was a man who knew his stuff. Also, someone else who was ahead of his time was Joe Dante (thanks for the recommendation Mandarin). If you like this work, then look at Joe Dante for an explaination of COAM. It is an eye opener.
Have fun. |
