Address position - pitch elbow
I am swinger but found out that I release the right elbow quite early in front of the body with a punch elbow at impact.
My coach told me that this is due to my address position, too steep, (63 degree with a driver) and not enough left hip turn coming down. He said that no way you can have a pitch elbow if the left hip not turn enough, all good golfer has a hip 30 degree open at impact. Also, the address is too steep and won't allow a pitch elbow. In TGM, we said, hand control, right shoulder start down etc.. so I never play attention on the left hip. So do I have to initiate the start dwon on the left hip to clear the left to have a elbow position? |

Start your backswing on that premise and the rest should just fall into place nicely. |
