set up

I have been working on my golf swing and I like the concept of using one basic swing style for most all shots, of course there are times where somthing special is called for. My question is this,
in chipping I have been setting up with an open stance but square shoulders, pitching the same, but would it be better for my consistency if I set up square on all clubs and all shots, chips and pitches included?
thanks guys

I think the OPEN stance line is fine for those short shots. It actually can give an advantage for those shots in that it somewhat encourages some restriction on the Backstroke, and freedom on the Follow-Through(10-12-C).
