Medinah rant

Seems to be a fabolous course. But there is one thing. Everyone (except Daly :) ) is basically playing it the same way. It plays like a tennis course. Throwing darts from the tee and onto the green.

Take Hoylake as another example. That course can basically be played in at least 5-6 ways on each hole.

I'd love to play Medinah one day. Don't get me wrong. Looks awesome.

But if I had to choose between playing Hoylake or Medinah every single day for the rest of my life I'd choose Hoylake every time.

Hoylake has at least 3-4 more dimensions to it.

Watching players on Medinah for more than 4 days every 5:th year would get boring.

End of Rant.

Medinah is stunning. But...

Ya I'm starting to really appreciate courses where you have options...

Like British Open golf...

Makes it more interesting for sure.

But Mickelson is proving you do have options at Medinah. WRONG options, but options none the less.

Too bad there wasn't a Dean Wormer at ASU to tell him "Fat and stupid is no way to go through life son."
