Go Spartans!
Heresy for a U of Mich fan you ask?
Well, I've been transplanted to Hoosier-land, and it's time for the great state of Michigan to lay Butt Whoopin' #2 on them Fightin' Irish!! (Bagger, I haven't been able to bring myself to put my Texas shirt back on ever since they got beat by that team to my east. :crybaby:) |
Bam,
:naughty: This Irish Catholic Hoosier thinks that Notre Dame will be so pi$ at the state of Michigan as a whole, that Michigan State will get beat, not bad, but I think they are going down.... Tell me you're at least a Colts fan? |
hmmm...I'm not so sure. That was a beating last week, and Brady Quinn is going to have to show some mental toughness to overcome the turnover problems. I think it'll be a decent game, although as far as I'm concerned it's not much better than last year's ND vs. OSU bowl ;-)
I'm a Lions fan for life, but I love the Colts, too. Honestly, I'll probably never have to choose between them in my lifetime. Only one of them is going to a super bowl anytime soon! |
I graduated from Michigan in 1965 and was VERY happy with last week's game.

you just gotta love BOTH, ND VS Michigan and ND vs Michigan St.
pretty cool every year, always great theatre... we do have a killer weekend set up here, ND v. Michigan St., the Ryder Cup (lets hope for the best), NFL Sunday, and hopefully a break from the rain to get in 18:happy3: enjoy .... |
Bam, the Lions were always a sentimental favorite of mine before the Colts kinda of "rolled" into town in '84.
you had to love Speilman and Sanders, too bad those teams didnt break through.... later |
Definately a great golf and football weekend. I always love the ND / UM game! Been getting a lot of flapping gums from my buddies all summer, so the game couldn't have gone any better
The Lions are kinda like the Cubs. We used to go to the Thanksgiving game every year - a tradition I miss. Even during the Barry years, they never had super bowl potential; I've learned to live with it and hope they can turn it around. Some good things this year, but they still have a long way to go. |
