I'm curious why put the video on the website? I find that almost I have to mute the commentary. What am I supposed to pick up from Moe Norman's swing? :?:

I know Yoda sees a lot of good things in Moe's swing and I'm sure he will want to comment on those when he gets back from Orlando...

at the Casselberry driving range here in Orlando. If you put him and iron Byron next to each other and watch their shot dispertion you couldn't tell the difference.

The video of the late Moe Norman's Academy Live appearance on The Golf Channel is very important and should be viewed -- several times -- by all who seek Golfing Perfection. Its historical significance is that of a visual record of the Total Motion of one of the great Ball Strikers of all time and also, his personal commentary on that Motion. It's technical significance is its personification -- however extreme -- of such bedrock TGM fundamentals as Right Forearm Plane Line Tracing, the Flat Left Wrist, the Grip, Extensor Action, Hinge Action, the Turned Shoulder Plane, the Straight Line Delivery Path, Lag Loading, the Feet and Knees as Anchors, Longitudinal Acceleration, and On Line Delivery Motion. These are only the ones that came immediately to mind. No doubt, the list is incomplete.

There is much to explore in Mr. Norman's video and much to be learned. As time permits, I plan on doing exactly that.

Moe is eccentric, autistic, a savant with a golf club and ball. It is a shame he was treated with such rudeness and mockery by the PGA players. We all know how easy it is to reject people that are different. Homer said to be successful, you have to be different. Moe was both.

Moe didn’t always know what he was doing with the club when he tried to explain it. He trusted feel and “seems to bes.” He says he is all left side but there is so much to admire about his right side- that powerful right arm thrust. It was his autism that allowed Moe to perform one task perfectly- over and over- again and again. I’m glad God allowed him to overcome his family and let him do that simple task that alludes most of the golfing world- and in our time.

I think that's what confused me intially. That and Shankland's commentary, which seems quite a bit off, especially at the third segment. In other forums, people have denounced Craig as being very off-base from a TGM viewpoint. Should I ignore his commentary?

The Golf Channel has asked us to remove the Moe Norman video link from our website because it is premium content for them.

We did not realize this link was privileged so we have removed it from LBG.

Gee, The Golf Channel was trolling us? The unspeakable Homer Kelley Golfing Machine? TGM is creeping more and more into their instruction programs and I don't mean in general terms but in presentation and terminlogy.

Maybe we should give the first instructor from one of their shopws that mentions Homer Kelley by name a prize. :D :D :D

Do you think they will ever give any of the boards/members any acknowledgement for "ghost writing" their shows for the last few weeks/months/years.....
