Phil M, hitter or swinger?
 

Looks like Phil is a swinger to me (a newbie) but how would TGM classify his swing?

He is main stroke pattern is a swing....but a player at that level does both....pros know the hitting stroke as a punch stroke.

I saw him use that 1/2 swing/punch at th WGC to stick one close.
