tracing versus covering
 

I am rathar new to TGM and I keep reading the phrase 'trace the plane line with the right forearm do not cover with right forearm.' Just exactly what is the difference, Is it basically pointing at the plane line versus swinging over the plane line? Thanks for time spent answering question.

Tracing means to simply point at the plane line.

Covering means to "visually cover" the plane line.
