New Hitter!!!!!
i have always been a swinger.today i went to the range and gave hitting a go.i have to say i was very impressed.i would have to say it was a lot eaiser to control to ball .power was not a lot different.i used a snap release like Tom Watson.the main problem i had was if you dont crank the right arm on start down and hang onto the club it forces the swing off plane and destroys it.i was hitting 3W off the deck about 230 meters carry.we use meters in Australia.i was amazed how well hitting works and how powerful it can be.i would have to say most of my good shots had a draw on them.i question how do i know how many barrels i am using?

There is NO holding on that creates lag pressure. Lag pressure is created, not held or kept. That's something that I really had to change because of previous (poor) instruction that I had been given. |
Thanks for the help.i have a question.most players on the PGA tour are swingers.do you think this is because of the lack of windy conditions in the states?many more players in Europe seem to use hitting than in the US.I aslo believe we are going to have the man himself BEN DOYLE comming to Australia very soon. Can't wait!!!!!

My game has gone to a new level, and my teaching has become HUGELY successful. |
I have been a swinger all my life, learning to hit actually helps my swinging
i would recommend players to give hitting a go it is really powerful and very accurate.it is easier to use when you dont feel so relaxed as swinging tends to require.i was anti hitting until now!!!!! |
