Hi all,

I have just started my study of TGM (just recieved a copy of the yellow book) and am ready to pull the trigger on the Destin opportunity....

I must admit that I suffer from range-addiction, and I'm hesitant to start applying concepts from my readings without first visiting an AI. That said, I will find it next to impossible NOT to :?

Any suggestions on how best to prepare in the interim?

There is a plethora of The Golfing Machine information on the web that will enhance your understanding of Homer's work but let me assure you, no matter how many times you read the book, try to apply the concepts, think you got it all figured out, you will come up short. There is only one way only to get the whole picture and that is face to face, hands on personalized explanation of said concepts and then the application to you and your game. The Full Monty. That Full Monty is at one location only for it encompasses that which one passed from Homer himself to a seeker and then by one who took the time to devote his energy and efforts to the cause to Sally and Homer's work when no one else would. They will both be present in Destin Florida at the Beach Bash. Just for fun and kicks, you throw in Sally's hand chosen mental approach to the game guru and what do you have? S-U-C-C-E-S-S!

This is not pomp, puffery or being braggadocios. As Lynn noted when this operation was moving forward and I reference him for this particular podium is his, "This BOB Is Not A Snare!" References? Page 52 and page 53 of The Golfing Machine and BOB standing for "Bash On the Beach."

I too was in the same position that you are in. I was able to go to one of these get togethers and boy was it GREAT!
It has totally changed how I look at my game.
What should you bring? Well..... your best swing ... favorite club .... a copy of the yellow book and ...
They took videos when we were there and I got a copy. I've watched it many times since. As my swing develops I keep seeing more and more things in the video that I didn't see the first time.

The most important thing to bring is yourself. You will meet some fantastic people and the experience WILL improve your game. Have fun.
