Depends on what you mean when you say: "use the whole right side through impact". It is probably more of a feel thing than a real thing. But if it means that you ruin your rhythm and let the left side break down you will not survive 18 holes, TGM or not.

but nothing goes against TGM. Although it has certain preferences here and there, it is not a method book, but a system for describing and analyzing different stroke patterns.

In any case - whether you hit or swing, you need structural support / integrity on the right and left side for a stroke without major compensations.

Daryl made a nice post yesterday, about the left shoulder resisting to establish Extensor Action. That left shoulder resistance gave me such a solid tripod that driving the primary lever was easy peasy! I'm curious though, gentlemen, if you have tried this method of impact for yourselves.

What I mean is that I am copying Lynn's video of vertically uncocking the left wrist and throwing it straight down at the baseline of the plane. Extensor Action with pp# 3 and # 1 keep my bent right wrist intact while I bend and unbend the elbow and the club goes "swoosh" :eyes: (technical non-TGM lingo) and yet my body seems so quiet(impact fix start) and the line of the shot seems very clean. :)

We were rained out after 9 holes today, and I played bogey golf despite my clubs being slick during the downpour. Anyway, that's my move through impact. I think that the EA and RFT turn my right hip partially back, the right shoulder is turned with the sternum, and as soon as I see the left arm taut and on plane, I unbend the elbow/drive the wedges down. Nothing else moves! Hip is behind me so no interference with the prim. lever which is in front of the hip already.

As per distance, the ground is hard here and I have been teeing off with a "soft" 16 degree 3 wood or a 24 degree 5 wood and they roll forever. I tee the 10. 5 degree clone ping driver up high on a tall tee and really hit up on it on the longer holes and a 230 yard carry will roll and bounce to 250 or so. I know that is not long compared to many, but the "quietness" and balance through impact gives me a lot:book: of confidence going to the greens.

I'm not even sure what to call these components but I'm enjoying them. :golf:
