How do I stop my lower body from outracing my upper?
I am finding that my lower body typically outruns my upper, moreso with drive/woods/long irons. I would think that my lower body also slides and spins out causing my arms/torso to lag. The result for me are blocks, pushes, slices...low worm burners. Lower body is in front, arms are stuck behind torso.
Maybe I just try to kill the ball from the top and that sets off this chain Any drills to help? |

The thing that helps me is to think "slow start-down". It should be the same action you use for your short irons. By the way, Tiger has this problem with his driver. His body starts moving so fast that the club gets stuck behind him and he hits those massive blocks to the right. |

Thanks gang - I just recently started down the TGM path. I had one lesson with Ted so far - well worth it...
We worked mostly on grip, and the changes are helping me out immensely - didn't get to this subject yet though. |
