Lagging Takeaway
Is this the same takeaway that Hogan, Nelson, Boros, and I believe, among others, Ed Sneed used?

Those guys had it together. Clubs without quality control systems. Courses that were not computer engineered. Styles that were personally owned. Not cookie cutter. Balls that smiled when you missed them. Greens with a stimp of 4. etc. etc. Yes, the lagging takeaway is an important move for swingers. But rarely taught today. The infamous "one piece takaway" has helped hackers and ruined players. Swingers take the club to the "end" rather than the "top". The load against pressure point #3 at the end is easier to accomplish with a snap loading procedure 10-22-C in the backstroke which delays the lag loading at the end until the last instant. Bagger |

Help me out. When you say 'end' rather then 'top', do you mean 10-21? I never even really considered top/end, etc.... Thanks. Patrick |
Lagging Clubhead Takeaway can be done so subtly that you can't even see it. But you certainly should feel it!

Easy Power
The lagging takeaway combined with a Swinging procedure and a BS which ends at or before the Top, facilitates downcocking. This can be especially useful for players with a very limited range of motion to get more "snap".
