What would u change if tiger was your student

Make no mistake, tiger is on a nose dive thanks to his awful mechanics he is learning from foley, his overemphasis of strength and fitness over the years and the aftermath of his personal problems in my opinion more his fathers death than his marriage problems.

Tiger must know that the stuff he's working on isn't right, I would think he's got to. Tigers swing in 2000 is an absolute work of art, beautiful to watch. So maybe he doesn't wanna have the same swing he did in 2000 maybe he wants to be better, fine. What would you do if tiger came to you for help.

The first thing I would work on with tiger by far is his head drop, I would get that sucker dead centered throughout for every club. Next I would change his posture foley has himsoooo far bent over it's so bad, the chipping and the putting are especially suffering because of that and I heard foley was saying he wants him more bent over ?!? Next I would get his arm configuration right get the right forearm on plane at address. Next I would have him smooth out the swing in general he is thrusting and jamming like crazy. I would teach him the swinging action and get him to back off all the muscular effort. So many things tiger needs help with right now because for the past 7 years or so he's been taught some really awful mechanics by foley and Haney

Whip, in one of Lynn's videos, blocked by my school filters, Lynn set-up to Hit his driver like Moe Norman and proceeds to crush the ball. Supposing Moe's a Swinger, wouldn't Tiger or any golfer benefit from that set-up and motion with full TGM instruction? :read:

if i was tiger i would go back to 2000 and rethink what exactly was working. whether it was harmons coaching i would certainly get back with him because it worked and has done for years before they split. all great athletes stay with the one coach....nick faldo in golf carl lewis in track and field and so on.

if it aint broke why try to fix it and tigers swing at the mo is certainly F***ed!

Amen brotha Itd be like scrapping the Mona Lisa and starting over because it doesn't look modern enough

When ur scoring avg is 68.1 theres not a whole lotta room for improvement

Wouldn't take him as a student.

We probably can't change his mentality.

x-man 05-13-2012 03:53 AM

we can clearly see that hes still willing to improve and learn so i admire him for that. he really needs to swollow his pride and rethink in regards to what was actually making the difference in 2000!

it all makes sense once i heard him say it has to feel uncomfortable, at the level hes at, it shouldnt feel uncomfortable to be right. he knows it doesnt feel right.

What if it were a football camp?

Get the right forearm in line to push...trying to hit with swinging alignments...too pitchy for his pivot...
