Extensor Action - Right Palm and Left Thumb - Stable Release
 

Extensor Action - this alone has helped me create width in my swing when a million other attempts failed.

MY QUESTION... can anybody explain how extensor action helps or relates to the release into the ball? I tend to miss it right... which is a welcome change from the hooks I've hit in the past. The extensor action seems to allow (actually REQUIRE) me to actively release the club, when in the past I tried everything I could to hold off the club from releasing (or else hook it)...

Any help is MUCH APPRECIATED
