Denny Alberts was presented with the achievement of Third Team All American Honors in junior college and has spent the past 26 years teaching and studying the game of golf full time. he has worked with nine-time PGA winner Jay Hass and has learned and studied from master teachers such as George Kelnhofer, Lynn Blake, Peter Croker, Brian Manzella, Chuck Evans and Mac O'Grady. Denny is also a member of the PGA, and is a PGA Teaching Professional, Certified Master Instructor, and is also an authorized Instructor of the Golfing Machine.

I have been fortunate to have studied the swing under the guidance of such instructors as Jim Flick for 20 years, Peter Kostis, Paul Bertholy, Mike Hebron, Tom Tomasello, Jim Suttie, Rick McCord, Dick Farley, Joe Daniels, Chuck Evans, Lynn Blake, and Peter Croker.

I am an Authorized Instructor for The Golfing Machine and have earned a GSEM degree. I am also a C.H.E.K. Certified Golf Biomechanic who is able to improve performance in golfers by addressing golf-specific conditioning needs, thus enabling the golfer to reach their golf potential and increase their enjoyment of the game.

My teaching credentials include 25+ years of teaching experience: Teaching Professional, El Rancho Verde Country Club, Rialto, CA (1980-1989, 2000-present), Golf Instructor for Sam's Custom Golf Center, Rialto, CA (1989-present), Golf Instructor at Ayala Golf Center, Chino, CA (1997-present), follow-up instructor for Golf Digest Schools under Jim Flick (1982-1989), Lead Instructor for the Minnesota Golf Schools (1992-present), and National Golf Foundation (NGF) instructor for professionals, teachers, and coaches (1985-1992).

I recently became the Director of Instruction at Golf Excellence International. GEI is an indoor facility in Los Angeles which specializes in High-Tech instruction and training. In addition, I am a past member of the Board of Regents of the NGF's Association of Golf Educators, where I was Chairman of the Drills and teaching Aids Committee.


I use computer digital video in my instruction exclusively for better communication with his students. I have used split-screen video since 1988. Since 1996 I have been Director of Quality Assurance for Peter Croker's Path To Better Golf Program. I have work extensively with Peter Croker and other Path To Better Golf instructors (using split-screen video) to ensure that a very high and standardized level of Path To Better Golf Instruction is being taught.

My first exposure to golf was in the early 70’s. I had a few lessons from the local pros. The first lesson, really sparked my interest in the golf swing. I improved quite a bit, and broke 80 that same year.

Next, I took a few lessons from a pro that favored the Square to Square Method. I had a tough time with this, but I figured out a way to make it work.

I went on to play college golf. I did fairly well, and made the All-Conference team one year. We had a good team, and won both the State Small College Tournament, and the District Tournament during my college years.

I have now been in the golf business for over 20 years. I started as an assistant pro in Virginia. There I gave my first official golf lessons. The pro I was working for was interested in teaching, and seemed to like the Golf Digest instructors… Flick, Toski, etc.. I did the best I could to help the people, with what I knew.

Later, I worked for a pro in North Carolina that favored Jimmy Ballard’s teaching methods. I learned a little about this type of teaching, and did use some of the ideas with my students.

Next, I worked for a former tour player in Indiana. Here, we taught strictly according to the Jim Flick type format. We gave many, many group lessons, and did junior golf camps.

The next several years I was back in North Carolina working as an assistant pro. I became a PGA Member during this time. I continued teaching, doing the best I could with the knowledge I had. I took a few lessons from an up and comming pro named David Leadbetter during this time.

During these years I met a pro that was winning many local pro tournaments in the area. He actually played in the P.G.A. Championship, and made the cut. I found out he adhered to a method that had something to do with a machine concept.

We met a few times. He gave me a few pointers, but later referred me to a teacher in South Carolina.

I attended my first Golfing Machine School in 1988. The GSED was Tom Tomasello. I saw here a clear way to teach and learn the physics and geometry of a golf stroke. My teaching, and playing started to improve, as a result of my new knowledge.

A year or so later, I attended the Advanced School that Tom offered. In attendance was Clarence Moore, 2 time U.S. Senior Amateur Champion. He gave a demonstration of his pattern. He was very impressive. He could Hit, or Swing equally well, at least it appeared that way to me. I picked up more useful information at this school, especially relating to the short game.

I continued to work with Tom up to his death. I also worked some with Alex Sloan, GSED I gained more insight from Alex, although his methods were quite different from Tom’s.

Later, I taught for 3 years with GSED George Kelnhofer. There, I was exposed to many tour caliber players, and good amateur players. David Duval, Larry Mize, Charley Rymer, Stuart Cink, Craig Perks, and Charles Howell were the many players that came through there.

During the next several years I taught in Atlanta. During this time I knew, and worked periodically with Tom Ness, GSEM I learned a great deal from Tom, especially about the short game. I also knew, and worked some with Chuck Evans, GSED.

I developed back problems later in my career. During this time I contacted David Lee, because I heard he had a method of swinging that was back friendly.

I found that David had quite a knowledge of physics, as it pertains to golf. I taught briefly in his indoor facility, Gravity Golf, in Atlanta.

A year or so later I met Lynn Blake, GSEM. Lynn has a unique level of understanding of The Golfing Machine, due to his personal involvement with the author, Homer Kelley. Through my involvement with Lynn, along with Ted Fort and Steve Ferguson, I gained an even greater insight into The Golfing Machine.

Rob Noel, GSEM, PGA

Louisiana native Rob Noel started his teaching career in 1987 after completing his education at the San Diego Golf Academy. He returned to his home state a year later as Director of Instruction at Lakewood Country Club. In 1992, he created The Rob Noel Golf Academy after moving to Bayou Oaks in New Orleans. His tenure at Money Hill Golf & Country Club in Abita Springs began in 1999. Rob's peers recognized him twice, in 1993 and 2000, as the Gulf States Teacher of the Year. Complementing his latest recognition was his listing in Golf Digest Magazine (2000 & 2003) as "Best Teacher in Louisiana." Players of all levels have significantly improved their games through Rob's focused instruction. Included as students are PGA Tour players Brian Watts, 1998 British Open runner-up and Kelly Gibson, thirteen-year tour veteran and Nationwide Tour two-time winner. Others that have sought Rob's instruction include: tour veterans Grant Waite, John Reigger, Scott Verplank, and Kevin Wentworth. Rob is a GSEM Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine by Homer Kelly and has also been a member of the PGA of America since 1989.

Brad Pluth is a PGA Golf instructor and Minnesota's only Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine. Brad teaches and coach at Glen Lake and The Bunker in Minnetonka and Northern Palms in Rogers in the winter.

Brad believes that given the correct information in an organized manner, people can learn anything! The golf stroke is a series of motions that must be learned and understood, then performed in the correct sequence. Communicating this knowledge in the proper sequence is the key to becoming a golfer and lowering your scores.

Paul is a rarity in the professional golf world. He holds both a TGM AI qualification (known as the hardest exam in the golf teacher’s realm) and is also a Master Craftsman certified by the Golf Clubmakers Association in the USA. Clients of Paul’s get a first class education session whether it be fixing a swing fault or building clubs from scratch to suit a player’s ability.

Paul has been a sportsman over the years competing at international level field hockey, Porsche Cup motor-sport in Europe and Group E in Australia. He took to golf at a later age than most but now travels the world teaching.

In his previous career he ran one of the world’s largest Foreign Exchange Derivatives teams and learned well that whatever business you do you must listen to what a client required to be able to get the best result.

V.J. Trolio played Division 1 collegiate golf at the University of Southern Mississippi. He served as Team Captain during the ‘96-’97 year, and as a senior became the first Golden Eagle to earn a birth into post season play at the ’98 NCAA Championship. After graduation, V.J. turned professional, playing the Hooter’s, Teardrop, and various other mini-tours across the country. A week after missing qualification for the second stage of Tour School, he qualified for the Southern Farm Bureau Classic, one of the year-end tournaments on the PGA TOUR. This week would forever change his concept of how the game should be played.

In 2000, V.J. sought help from Rob Noel, GSEM. Until that time, he had avoided 'intense' instruction because of a false belief that too much instruction made golf too complex. Rob introduced him to The Golfing Machine®, which for the past four decades has stood as one of the greatest instruction books ever written.
