How do you think the elite golfers (I consider anyone on Tour elite) get to the level at which they play? You are one of the best golfers on the planet. When did you realize you had the "stuff?"
You have obviously put in tons of blood sweat and tears to get to your level. However, there are plenty of guys that have put in the time and effort but haven't made the grade. What do you think separates the good player from the Tour Player?
I was talking to a friend of mine that is a very good player +1 and played in college. He played in a Buy.com event. He said at his best he's like a 10 handicapper compared to those guys.
Is it talent? Strenght? Mechanics? Mindset? Hard work? Smart work? Intangibles?
you can not measure the heart of a true champion.look at tiger for example he still wins when he is not clicking.i think the one thing is being able to perform when your not playing well.it is easier to score when everything is clicking.this something you either learn or just suck it up and grind it out.trust me i have seen a lot of really good players not make it and a lot of players make it that i thought had no chance.
