Hi guys. This last few weeks have been a jet lag blurr to Phx and back. FRB one weekend followed by the Johnnie Walker over my back fence. What a treat.

John it was classic seeing the dowels in the staff bag on practice day Pity we did not quite get the catch up to chat but work is work and there was plenty of that going on.

Down under, the original TGMers were indeed Tom and Gregg doing the trips to teach. Paul Hart has been a major major contributor for the many years since and I beleive Steve Khabit recently won the Victorian Teacher of the year award, our last official A.I. (The rest of us are "formally known as A.Is" Now there is another story of disbelief of how TGM is run.) Ben Doyle and Gregg have been coming down over the last year to see Steves students in Sydney and Melbourne which is good to see.

TGM has been in the quack category of course down under through nothing more than the usual ingorance. Yours truely with iseekgolf.com has put it back in the mainstream public eye over the last 18 months. That has meant wearing a tin helmet and flack jacket anywhere I go but those who make the trip West go home seeing the light - either when here or at worst they can see the light at the end of the tunnel in terms of precision of execution (go Burner!!!).

G Edwin does not have nor had any TGM influence in his own development. His is a mix of hitting and swinging (dependiing upon which player you look at out of his stable) if you look carefully at the motions. Having said that I am sure that what HE means his players to do is not quite what comes out of them. Chuck Cook and he did a PGA summit workshop a couple of years back and GE liked what Chuck said though as he saw TGM as I think the quote was "at least there is science to back it up."

Many Aussie players are taught to keep the clubface pointing at the ball in the backswing. Its why many get pegged as hitters. But nearly all lay the face on the plane further up.

Gosh that was the longest post I had stuck up in ages. Hope it was worth reading this far down

PS if anyone has a spare flack jacket please post it this way
